| It is always a pleasure to go to
Amador Foothill winery. The staff/owners are always friendly, fun, and
very knowledgeable. They are very well known for their award winning
Sauvignon blanc which certainly lives up to its reputation. In addition to
the Sauvignon blanc being a great wine, it's inexpensive too!
Around $10 per
bottle for a truly great wine. In addition, it is always nice to try
the unusual rosés they offer such as the Rosato of Sangiovese; very refreshing
and not sweet. Sangiovese is another strong suit of Amador
Foothill. The wines are solid across the board.
