Sangiovese. Noceto is the master of this tasty varietal which
is gaining popularity in the foothills. Noceto also produces an
excellent Grappa (the only one I know of in the foothills), Sangiovese table wine (Nutz), the 1999 Riserva, and a Frivolo. We are certainly looking
forward to any additional new releases in the future. If the past releases are any indication
of the future releases, we suggest you give them a try. Tasting at Noceto
is rustic as it should be in the foothills. That's what I'm talking about!
