| Clos Du Lac is a must stop if exploring the wineries of Amador
County. Clos Du Lac is not in the Shenendoah region of Amador with
most of the other wineries but it is well worth the extra 15 minute
drive. See map for details.
We found
the grounds, facility, and staff to be among the nicest in El Dorado or
Amador counties. In addition, the "muscat vin doux
naturel" to be quite good even though aperitif's are not normally our
main point of interest. As far as value in concerned, we would say
the prices are on par with other wineries in the area.
