The nurse of
Zeus? We’ll have to take their word for that. One of the newer winery
additions in El Dorado County, Auriga specializes in several selections of
Zinfandel and Syrah. Grapes are harvested from both estate vineyards and
other local vineyards. The wines are big and beautiful with a nice balance
of oak and fruit. Auriga offers a quality product at a reasonable price.
Tasting room hours are April through December, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
11-5. January through March, Saturday and Sunday 11-5.
