It is a
pleasure to visit Crystal Basin Cellars in their new location near Gold
Harvest Market in Camino. Most recently, the winery was offering up some
tasty Cab, Cab Franc, Syrah, and Mourvedre. They are putting some finishing
touches on their new tasting room and things seem to be progressing nicely.
Friendly tasting room staff and award winning wines are on the menu. Make
sure you give this one a try if you are in the area. From Placerville,
Take Highway 50 East to Camino. Exit the freeway on the left at the Carson
Road exit. Continue Right on Carson for about half a mile. Look for the
winery on the right. Tasting room hours are 11-5, Thursday through Monday. |
