| Latcham Vineyards located slightly
off the beaten path in the Fairplay area of El Dorado County offers
consistently good wines. In particular, the Sauvignon Blanc, Gold
Rush Red, and the Barbera are excellent. In addition to the nice
wines, it seems that Latcham does a good job of having tasty snacks
available most of the time. If you're lucky, they will have the ooey-gooey
chocolatey brownies which you can wash down with the select port...
