Fairplay Road, Toogood Estates is open for tasting Wednesday through Friday
12:00PM-6:00PM and Saturday and Sunday 10:00AM-6:00 PM. A very unique and
fun experience in foothill wine tasting. Toogood has constructed two
enormous wine caves for wine storage and wine tasting. The tastefully
decorated cave/wine tasting area offers an escape from the hot foothill
summer heat and offerings of delicious Zin, Primitivo, Cab, Cab Franc,
Sangiovese, Barbera, and Syrah. Plan on spending some time when you go to
Toogood. They often offer barrell tastings, snacks, and pleasant
conversation. Definitely a fun stop when cruising through Fariplay. |
