that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate
and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." Leaning towards Rhones, Narrow Gate produce excellent quality Syrah, Cab, Zin, Viognier, Roussanne. I've had the pleasure of speaking with owner/winemaker Frank Hildebrand about his wines and he definitely has a keen sense of awareness when it comes to various soils, climate, and growing conditions (or "terroir" if you will). Frank is fascinating to talk to and very knowledgeable. The wines are all good and I am looking forward to enjoying future vintages. |
