| Sogno
Winery is conveniently located off Highway 50 a few miles down Ponderosa
road. Right off the bat, It was nice to see a winery with plenty of
parking. The wine tasting facility is modern, clean, and quite
large. Obviously, in the above pictures you will notice that they
are currently embarking in some serious landscaping project; this
will surely add to the already impressive facility. The tasting room
is staffed by the family that owns the winery. It is a pleasure to
talk with Mrs. Davis and her daughter while you taste the wines.
Sogno boasts a large variety of wines for your tasting enjoyment including
the regional standards such as Zinfandel, Syrah, Chardonnay, and a few
less common varieties which are always fun to try. In addition to
the impressive tasting facility, Sogno has accommodations for both
weddings and room and board with their onsite bed &
breakfast.
Very enjoyable.
