| I realize that it is out of the
ordinary for Sierra Wine Guide to feature an olive oil producer, but food
and wine is the name of the game and olive oil is a major player.
You can imagine the joy as we were out doing our normal field research for
the wineries when we stumbled upon an olive oil producer! What's
more, they offer tasting, and we love tasting. They were offering
several varieties from light to very fragrant and infused. From
years of experience using olive oil as a professional chef and in the
home, it is my impression that this stuff is of an excellent
quality. If you are in the Coloma area visiting
Venezio or Gold Hill
wineries, you must stop in and try the olive oil. You won't be
sorry.
