Stuffed Shells |

*Suggestion:
Vino Noceto Sangiovese or similar |

| Ingredients: |
1.5 lbs sweet or hot italian sausage
1 package frozen spinach (thawed)
1- 8 oz can mushroom pieces
3 Cloves garlic chopped
1/2 Package jumbo pasta shells
1 Cup freshly shredded parmesan
1 standard large jar of prepared spaghetti sauce
1 Tablespoon whole fennel |

| Instructions: |
Brown sausage and garlic together. Drain. Add
spinach and mushrooms and heat through. Pre-heat oven to 350.
Cook pasta to desired consistency. Rinse pasta with cold
water. Stuff sausage mixture into shells. Place 1 cup of the
spaghetti sauce on the bottom of a casserole dish, next place shells on
sauce. Place the remainder of the sauce on top of the shells.
Finish with parmesan cheese on top. Place in oven and bake uncovered
for 45 minutes. Serve with a green salad or caesar salad and some
garlic bread. |
